Job Description Customized Energy Solutions is looking for an Analyst to provide support on its Renewable Energy team, performing a variety of analytical functions, including renewable compliance position tracking and data management. The position will focus on the management of client positions, renewable energy credits, and regulatory and compliance processes using proprietary platform. The position will require direct interaction with clients and regulatory authorities. The successful candidate will be a high energy self-starter, a positive proactive team player, highly proficient in SQL queries, Excel and data analysis, and possess excellent communication skills and initiative. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Being detail oriented and a person of integrity are essential qualities, as is an ability to handle new tasks and manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Representative Duties Establish and maintain data and information tracking systems using proprietary software platform. Analyze and manage complex data sets, including bug triage and solutioning. Support the process to prepare, submit, track, and manage regulatory and compliance filings. Manage ongoing renewable and retail energy compliance portfolios. Assist compliance team with preparing and submitting federal, ISO, state, and utility energy load reports. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory authorities. Utilize and manage internal and third-party databases, including SQL calls to triage issues. Continuous improvement of a proprietary web-based platform for REC compliance position management. Perform other duties as assigned/needed Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering. Two or more years of energy related compliance, project management and/or data analysis experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a deadline-driven and self-managed environment. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Ability to communicate effectively and work with groups and individuals at all levels. Demonstrated ability to think "outside the box by developing and implementing improvements to processes and tools. Preferred Qualifications Advanced graduate degree Java Programming skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Working knowledge of state Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) and/or Renewable Energy Credits Markets (REC), particularly PJM and ISO-NE.
