We currently have an open position in Customer Supply Chain supporting multiple customers within the Grocery Channel. The Supply Chain Associate Manager drives the implementation of efficient supply chain services between assigned customer/s. The goal is to achieve preferred supplier status and deliver against growth and profit objectives. This role is the primary liaison between our sales organization & customers' product supply functions in relation to supply chain opportunities. Overall, the expected results are to implement sustainable, cost effective, supply chain processes while ensuring our customers are compliant with Customer Operations Metrics.

  • Monitor supply chain scorecards and apply course corrective actions as needed for assigned customers
  • Develop and deploy analysis and scorecards for communication to the customer and key cross-functional areas to improve supply chain compliance and effectiveness
  • Deliver flexible supply chain options/tools and resources that enable growth goals
  • Execute best route to market and cost-to serve supply chain processes for customers; accountable for the supply chain initiatives that drive improved effectiveness
  • Partner with sales to execute against strategic customer development opportunities and deliver Advantage Survey results
  • Unsaleable/Returns collaboration across assigned customers to drive profitable category growth
  • Coordinate with sales as needed to improve order and shipment processes
  • Manage day to day issues with each assigned customer related to supply chain efficiency
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Able to represent supply chain internally and externally in a professional manner, both strategically and tactically
  • Customer facing experience
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite including Excel
  • Familiarity with SAP and ability to learn and utilize customer systems and data
  • Solid financial analysis ability
  • Proactive, decisional, goal and results oriented
  • An assertive yet collaborative and team-oriented leadership style
  • Skilled in problem solving, plan development and priority setting
  • Strong strategic and tactical skills and ability to ascertain when each is appropriate
  • Willingness to take a position and to persevere in the face of significant challenge le to work across organizational structures
  • Some travel required (10% travel time expected, travel to other locations, travel overnight to customer locations
