Hybrid SQL Server Developer

Required To Be Considered

• The biggest need for this role is strong SQL query experience within a SQL development environment. We will be looking for several examples of SQL development experience throughout ones career.
• 5+ years' experience working with database development
• SQL Development experience; not just query writing, but a SQL Developer
• Strong experience with reporting software; SQL Server Reporting Service and Power BI
• Demonstrated proficiency for project management
• Excellent knowledge of IT/data best practices and database concepts

Job Function

• Develop and manage organizational data repository content, defines common definitions, ensures data quality and manages appropriate access
• Communicate with a variety of stakeholders through meetings, calls, educational sessions etc. to ensure stakeholders understand how to leverage data
• Build customer facing reports for our internal teams (QBR's, scheduled customer reports, etc.)
• Check reports for accuracy; ensure timely delivery of reports
• Create complex queries and optimize existing queries
• Create a variety of data models that define the layout of all data elements, data definitions, etc.
• Learn and master new technologies as they arise
• Carry out other duties as appropriate and as assigned by his/her Supervisor

• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Self-motivated, tolerant of stress, dependable and analytical. The ability to think critically and solve multifaceted problems
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US

Education and/ or Work Experience

• PMP certified preferred, not required
• Demonstrated proficiency for project management
• Create complex queries and optimize existing queries
• SQL Development experience; not just query writing, but a SQL Developer
• Strong experience with reporting software; SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI and Tableau
• Excellent knowledge of IT/data best practices and database concepts
