The EDI Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of EDI, warehouse management system, transportation management system, warehouse control system and the associated interfaces to our enterprise systems. This role will also be responsible for monitoring EDI traffic, and maintaining logs of all contact information for the trading partners and will be involved in the initial testing for new EDI transactions and documents as well as being familiar with trading partner policies and procedures that may have impact on the business. This position is responsible for the daily functions and performance of the systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support of WMS/ TMS and integration interfaces to Epicor Eclipse, Dematic Sort Directory, Cubiscan, and other enterprise systems.
  • Support warehouse initiatives, including but not limited to, system workflows, views, reporting.
  • Provide technical assistance with database updates, data updates using T-SQL, and other system enhancements.
  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
  • Monitor, verify and ensure stable application and database environments.
  • Develop a deep understanding of applications and integration and bring issues to resolution.
  • Gain solid understanding of the business process, workflows and data.
  • Work with appropriate IT and Operations staff to resolve issues and WMS related projects/ point upgrades.
  • Write and maintain functional specifications for new or modified WMS system processes.
  • Maintain and support EDI transactions with partners and customers.
  • Review business requirements with internal team, vendor partners, and external requestor to transform EDI requirements to technical specifications.
  • Analyze business systems, network integration configuration, data storage, and security to define and ensure best practices and standards.
  • Build test cases and scenarios to facilitate testing and debugging of EDI systems and data interchange.
  • Gather feedback on accuracy, efficiency, and functionality of EDI systems.
  • Provide maintenance & support of completed systems including coordination with external vendors to support and resolve EDI transaction issues and requests.
  • Create or assist others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures.
  • Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests.
  • Track and document changes to functional and business specifications.
  • Coordinate and test integrations to Epicor Eclipse and other enterprise systems prior to system upgrades.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes.
  • Plan and coordinate the application of software patches and upgrades.
  • Monitor application performance and improve response times.
  • Provide on-call support for production applications.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
  • 3+ years of IT/EDI experience
  • Experience with EDI administration, integration, and support
  • Experience with applications such as WMS, TMS, ERP
  • Knowledge of programming helpful such as SQL, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to learn, solve problems, and drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills
