Qualifications: The Manager of Market Information and Business Analytics plays a key role within the Laundry Division managing all aspects of client's marketplace analytics (Business Drivers, Business analysis, , Application of Marketing Mix Results, Ad-hoc Syndicated Analysis etc.). This high visibility role is responsible for evaluating Henkel's marketing activities with the goals of increasing ROI and driving business growth. The Manager will also support our Brands on a day to day basis by leveraging our extensive syndicated data resources to provide fact-based insights that contribute to positive business results. Qualifications and Experience: * Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred * Min 5+ years of focused experience working with syndicated data (including both scanner and panel). Experience with advanced analytics a plus (past employment at Nielsen or IRI is required) * Proven track record of excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to interact well with all levels of Management. * Experience with managing the maintenance of large and complex databases * Proficient with Nielsen/IRI database mining software * Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment * Interest/experience in custom research is a plus * Solid strategic thinker * Strong thought leader * Team player * Analytic rigor * Self-confident integrity * Passion for growth
Responsibilities: Essential responsibilities will include: 1- Work with analytic partners to deliver insights that improve ROI on key marketing activities such as advertising, trade, couponing etc. 2- Serve as Henkel's primary point of contact for IRI database maintenance and topline reporting 3- Serve as key liaison between marketing and sales to provide fact-based support regarding potential pricing actions. 4- Provide day to day analytic support for the Laundry Division including business performance analyses, new product tracking etc. 5- Provide ongoing consultations on advanced business analysis issues throughout the organization e.g. causal based forecasts, business drivers, 'Business Due-tos'. 6- Support the Director of Market Information and Analytics on projects supporting  global priorities. 7- Conduct ongoing training sessions for ABMs to further develop their analytic skills. 8- Introduce new analytic capabilities that help  obtain competitive advantage.
