The role is based out of our Bowling Green, KY Corporate Office. Please note that this role has been designated as a "work from home position, which means the associate has the flexibility to work from home, but is expected to report to the office as needed or required. As such, the candidate will need to live in a location which will allow them to report to the Corporate Office in Bowling Green to work onsite as business needs require. We anticipate that this position will be working in the office 5%-20% of the time.The amount of time working in the office is directly related to business needs so it will vary quite a bit depending on projects, assignments, etc.

POSITION TITLE: Senior Systems Engineer, IS
SECTION OR DEPARTMENT: Information Systems
BASIC PURPOSE:
This position will support external application development resources in support of business-critical systems including electronic requisitions(eREQ/eFAR), Systems Access Requests (SAR), Corporate Decision Document (CDD) and Performance Management. This position will also support the internal & external SharePoint Farms, VMWare, K2, and other Web systems and workflow applications. Additionally, this position will develop and implement security policies, as well as standards for web systems and workflow applications in compliance with SWS Information Security Policy.
BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage projects to ensure completion by the required deadline.
Manage external development resources.
Develop functional specifications for business application needs.
Ensure that company standards are adhered to in development, coding, and documentation.
Interface with Customer in interactions which include Meetings, Design Reviews, Build Support, etc.
Develop policies and procedures for the standardization and security of workflow and web-based systems.
Manage Virtual Machines/Servers required for the implementation of workflow and web-based systems.
Maintain the security of workflow and web-based systems.
Provide reporting and updates to management and associates.
Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (computer-related field preferred) with 7-10 years of progressive professional experience
Project management with a minimum of 2 years of experience
Experience with MS SQL, .Net, SharePoint, & IIS
Experience with K2 Workflow applications
Experience with VMWare, TCP/IP Networking, & MS Active Directory is a plus
Experience with Internet security is a plus
Team oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail as well as outstanding organizational skills
