Overview
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Client Solutions Delivery is a top leadership role within the Information Technology department for. This client facing position willdrive strategic planning and visioning for the core services departments within IT comprising of Product Development, and IT Operations that includes Business Analysis, Application Development, DevOps and Software Testing. The SVP will guide a community of professionals whose work is central to the company's product development strategy and customer experience. With P&L responsibility, this role will prioritize and organize resources within each functional group and manage all staff and operations to help drive quality & velocity in client deliverables. A strong collaborator and visionary, the SVP will own and drive the destiny of the organization's technology products & services.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees client solutions and operations, and strategic direction of mission-critical applications, enterprise systems, and e-commerce functions to deliver client deliverables for all business units
  • Collaborating with business units and functions, this role analyzes the needs of our external customers while gaining an understanding of our internal business users. Develops information technology strategies and an Enterprise Technology Roadmap that meets these business objectives.
  • Responsible for balancing the organization's Business-As-Usual commitments to its clients along with execution of the organization's digital transformation roadmap
  • Responsible for product management, business requirements, software development, software quality testing, IT project management, DevOps and release management
  • Works with the Enterprise Architecture team for all IT assets and services. Balances architectural purity with pragmatic and cost-effective client solutions
  • Builds, promotes and manages department and project budgets. Proactively manages the IT P&L
  • Responsible for the company's Business Process Re-engineering portfolio. Governs selection of initiatives, and ensures projects deliver anticipated business value / ROI
  • Coaches and mentors employees, providing career and professional guidance. Provides leadership on technical issues and works with team to set objectives, review performance and develop career development plans
  • Evaluates 3rdparty suppliers including staffing vendors, defines selection criteria in selection, and manages the relationship through well-defined SLAs
  • Manages staffing levels and implements the right level of flexible staffing based on demand from clients
  • Stay abreast of existing and emerging IT and industry trends and relevant business developments associated with current and new technologies
  • Supporting / Driving specific organizational / corporate initiatives outside of his/her immediate sphere of responsibility
  • Understands the overall corporate and business unit product roadmaps and identifies how the information technology department needs to maintain, adjust or evolve to support planned direction.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems OR a similar discipline from an accredited university
  • 10 years' experience managing client facing, revenue generating IT operations including experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Experience in Agile Development, with a track record of having managed and established measurable performance metrics for agile development teams
  • Proven experience in product management methodologies including developing and managing product budgets and other pertinent KPIs. Experienced in organizational transformation from a service-based organization to a IT product based organization
  • Proven leadership and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative management style. Accommodates contrasting views, allows for meaningful debates, builds consensus where needed and makes educated decisions while motivating teams to rally behind the vision
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • MBA Preferred, Scrum Master Certification
  • Strong background in Enterprise Architecture
  • Experience in a regulated industry
  • Experience in managing offshore vendors
  • Experience in Business Process Reengineering methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma
  • Experience evaluating and selecting vendors that best support IT strategic plan
  • Experience in leading inter-organization change to increase efficiency through the implementation of technology

  • Strong attention to detail while also working towards high level strategic objectives
  • Hands-on "roll up the sleeves mentality and approach working with team and partners
