Our client, a leader among third-party logistics providers, is looking for a Data Integration Director to become a leader within their Information Services team. This is a vital role, reporting directly to the CIO, that will ensure the department's goals align with business objectives. They will play a crucial role in IS strategy and customer relations.
The right person is a hands-on experienced leader, who has managed complex and large-scale data integration projects, maintains a strategic vision and has strong customer facing skills.

Responsibilities
- Manage all data integration including but not limited to EDI
- Manage and train technical personnel, implement project management procedures to ensure timely completion of internal and customer projects
- Participate in sales initiatives with client prospects in relation to integration discussions
- Communicate with internal and external customers to scope, develop, test, implement and maintain integration processes in accordance with best practices
- Create effective integration design solutions that compliments operational processes in warehouse and transportation facilities
- Implement process improvements by creating innovative solutions that increase customer service, enhance accuracy and increase production
- Effectively communicate project status reports including foreseen obstacles and possible restraints to both internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related technology degree required, Master's Degree strongly preferred
- 10+ years of previous management experience
- Experience in complex large scale data integration projects within a diverse environment
- Must have experience with data integration packages, such as Cleo Clarify
- Must have strong project management experience which includes the ability to plan, execute and deliver functional excellence that is on time and of the highest quality
- Must have integration experience with multiple ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JE Edwards
- Experience with developing and analyzing data, table and file structures, designs and data mapping
- Specific EDI Development Experience: 856, 940, 943, 944, 945, 846, 947, 204, 210, and 214
- Industry experience working in logistics including warehousing and transportation
- Must be knowledgeable on various WMS, OMS and TMS systems (examples: Infor, Softeon, Enspire, MercuryGate, TruckMate, etc.)
- Strong business process and systems analysis skills
- Ability to recognize problems and implement systems-based solutions
- Customer focused, capable of working with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: presentation, written and verbal. Display strong leadership skills in a team-oriented environment and accomplish desired results with a high degree of quality
