Position Summary:
Business expert in operational expenditures and local revenue tasked to implement and reinforce Cost Savings and Revenue increases AGILITY methodology and administrate results report in GAIN tool. The Cost Controller (Efficiency) GAIN ensures timely recording of initiatives resulting from Cost Review, ongoing studies and other actions with financial impact, and validates accuracy of the figures reported as estimation and achievement of such initiatives. This individual should be data driven and self-motivated and should have outstanding communication and outstanding team working skills.


This position will be responsible to:
  • Implement and reinforce Agility Methodology, best practices and be the entry point for questions raised by other members of the AGILITY network
  • Record new initiatives, estimates and monthly achievements in GAIN system resulting from the Cost Review meetings, ongoing studies and other actions with respective supporting documents.
  • Control and validate accuracy of the results reported (Target/Achievement) in GAIN, including aligning methodologies, verification of calculations and validation of sources of data and issue reports on GAIN results for Top management
  • Lead periodical workshops with other areas driving initiates to ensure completeness of reported actions, alignment of methodology and validation of results.
  • Prepare reports of results for top management visibility to assist on the key decision-making process.
  • Support and engage in a team mindset of high performance, participate in permanent improvement actions and support a team culture of innovation.
  • Specialized equipment reconciliation (tracking and tracing of in transit equipment to capture and ensure the use of equipment before becoming idle).
  • Miscellaneous related duties or projects as assigned.


Skill Sets / Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university required
  • 2 -4 years' work experience in the following:
    • Experience in projects including data analytics, forecasting of operational expenses from either operational or financial perspectives
    • Experience in reporting information to top management
  • Working knowledge of business analytics, leading cross functional projects
  • Training or working knowledge in Lean Six Sigma or another optimization methodology preferred
  • Advanced skill with Qlik Sense, Power BI or another similar business analytics software preferred
  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Office products and data visualization
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing with strong presentation skills
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work in team environment
  • Accepts responsibility and accountability with focus on results
  • Ability to monitor and manage priorities and work on multiple tasks concurrently

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Preferred:
  • Preferred Master's degree in logistics, supply chain or similar field
  • Preferred experience in shipping, Logistics, supply chain or international business
