Director IT Infrastructure
Day to Day Summary:
  • Full Scope of Responsibility involves oversight of Network Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, ERP systems, PC's, Mobile Devices, Data Communications, Telecommunications systems, Backups & Data recovery, Regional Help Desk Operations & Regional Desk-Side Support Operations.
  • Directs IT Infrastructure planning and maintenance of enterprise wide systems (such as Azure infrastructure, Security Applications relating to Azure & the local network, Microsoft apps, NetSuite, Paychex, Salesforce, etc.
  • Prepares systems infrastructure cost estimates, budgets, and schedules
  • Prepares and presents project proposals to management and user departments
  • Establishes operating standards and system documentation requirements
  • Reviews current status of IT Hardware and prepares recommendations for system improvements
  • Monitors applications process and prepare reports on system uptime
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Essential Function:
  • Review and analyze complex master test plans and related documents, test cases, test schedules & test scripts from Systems Analysts.
  • Identify and track defects, issues, risks, and action items for the team.
  • Review regression testing to validate the resolution of any software, infrastructure, or system defects from the Systems Analysts.
  • Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if program will perform according to technical specifications and conform to guidelines.
  • Develop test cases and a standard set of procedures for each application during the Quality Assurance phase.
What you Bring to the Table:
  • Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science and/or 10 years equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years' experience managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
  • 5 years successful leadership of an infrastructure team.
  • Support on Windows environments
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware.
  • Knowledge of current protocols and standards.
  • Application support experience with Windows Systems and other operating systems.
  • Experience in interpreting the applicability of local and federal laws/regulations to company operations.
 
Recommended Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience managing a help desk/support center.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience managing a technical workforce.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with PC hardware components and their upgrades.
  • Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience developing and managing SLA's.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience with Internet services (DNS, email services, HTTP, etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years working knowledge of backup methodologies
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with Sarbanes-Oxley process and procedures compliance.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with transactional applications (Tomcat, HTML, etc.)
