OB OVERVIEW:

The Web Analyst is responsible for championing, analyzing and building Web Analytic capabilities for corp and Divisions. Provide insights to company and divisions based on web traffic analysis, custom sales history and outside information which will be used to drive multichannel marketing and sales programs, and to measure and report on success of these programs using quantitatively based metrics such as Revenue, Conversion, Acquisition, and Retention etc.
The Web Analyst will be responsible for managing Google Analytics (GA) projects/support tickets, administer GA training to business teams, coordinating GA Enhancements.

Other responsibilities include SEO initiatives including managing vendor relationships & individual SEO projects, page content creation & maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

" Creates analytics reports by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to senior management team.
" Leads website behavior and customer experience analysis.
" Develops and implement standardized email marketing analytic methodologies.
" Educates and partners with business units in analyzing web traffic using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Coremetrics and Omniture/Adobe Analytics etc. Integrates information in these tools with statistics derived via Microstrategy accessible data warehouse.
" Suggests, creates and executes multivariate or a/b/c tests that drive fundamental improvements to sitemarketing/advertising performance.
" Works with the marketing and website technology teams to identify gaps in the data capture strategy (tag throwing, parameter tracking, etc.) and collaboratively implement enhancements.
" Maintains knowledge of web environment and advises leadership regarding relevant upcoming web channels, devices, methods or processes.
" Monitors state-of-the-art technologies and ensures that best practices in metrics and decision making are being used cross-company.
" Manages SEO Projects and SEO vendor relationship
" Web Site Competitive Analysis
" Conducts Customer Web trainings for Merchandise Website
" Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE:

Experienced analytics professional; in-depth knowledge and understanding of web analytics. Strong judgment and analytical ability. Know and apply the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of web analytics. Resolve a wide
range of issues and assignments in creative ways. Assignments are typically broad in nature. Serve as a resource to others to resolve complex problems and issues. May take on project lead role on small scale projects.

COMPLEXITY:

Work on complex issues/projects where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Use best practices and knowledge of business issues and strategic direction to solve complex problems where precedent
may not exist; recommend solutions to business challenges. Demonstrate strong judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Network with senior internal and external personnel inside and outside own area of
expertise.

SUPERVISION:

Receive minimal instruction on day-to-day work and minimal instruction on new projects or assignments. May act as a resource to provide formal guidance for TSMs with less experience.

Qualifications



WORK EXPERIENCE:

3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications.

Must skills- Google Analytics, SEO, intermediate excel (VLOOKUP's-pivot tables)
" Expertise in Business Intelligence tools (Business Objects, Microstrategy, Cognos, etc.) particularly adept at writing and tuning queries.
" 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel and Access skills.
" Mid-level expertise in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies and at least one year of experience measuring the success of SEO/SEM campaigns/efforts.
" Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end user and technical resources.
