The Business Analyst (ERP) will be responsible for analyzing the business needs of an individual business area: Finance, Operations, Quality, etc., with the primary purpose of eliciting high-level requirements, capturing business needs, identifying problems and proposing solutions.

Responsibilities:
Work with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs to understand technology solutions needed especially with company ERP systems
Understand the customer journey and define user requirements.
Promote architectural consistency and usability standards as well as defining and executing test cases.
Work with the business partners and the information technology staff to identify technologies to improve business processes.
Be a liaison between the IT department and the assigned business units to analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business process and policies.
Improve how the business operates by applying best practices to the individual business area. via the ERP, Process Improvement, Robotic Process Automation or through other methods.
Identify business process improvement opportunities
Productively working with and influencing the business area
Participate in ERP Client, Build, Test and Deploy activities
Identify and define business requirements with outcome criteria and metrics
Map business processes
Identify and resolve issues
Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to project team and implementation consultants
Maintain training documentation
Train users on proper usage of the ERP system


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of IT experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with supporting and enhancing enterprise third-party ERP solutions (SAP experience a plus)
  • Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases and user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes
  • Broad IT domain experience and familiarity with business structure and operations outside of IT
  • Must be willing to work "unusual hours when required
  • Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and functional teams including outside of IT
