  • Leads and champion for on-line direct-to-consumer business web development initiatives. Plans and executes to achieve short- and long-range sales and profitability growth of the business.
  • Direct and guide a growing team of Web Developers and Web Designers which would include employee hiring, training, evaluations and discipline.
  • Collaborate with key leaders to develop and implement a digital commerce and marketing technical architecture roadmap and structure that includes the support of external channels such as e-retailers and marketplaces, and the integration of internal systems such as ERP, online ordering/fulfillment, content marketing systems and CRM.
  • Provide oversight and management of budget, timeline and deliverables for long-term technical project work, as well as day-to-day operations and processes; this includes leading teams of internal and external business and data analysts, systems architects, front-end developers, back-end developers and QA.
  • Drive development of all brand websites and corporate business systems, apps and supporting platforms; this includes evaluating needs, developing project scopes, testing, launching and ongoing maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership in designing and delivering robust systems and processes while ensuring alignment to good development practices.
  • Use stakeholder feedback and systems data performance to continuously monitor and analyze roadmap performance and durability, driving incremental improvements.Motivate the team to produce best-in-class performance and results on time and on budget; provide hands-on assistance when needed.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing organization and with global sales, develops a comprehensive site development strategy for web real estate, including innovative localization and subdomain approaches.
  • Works with the broader marketing and with product marketing, creates a comprehensive information architecture and navigation approach that considers both product development, technical SEO, and SEO keyword strategies.
  • Develops an integrated technology and marketing roadmap that includes deep collaboration with the IT organization and integrated systems such as ERP, online ordering/fulfillment, and integrated analytical and CRM systems.
  • Works cross-functionally with all organizations to drive awareness of web development and digital marketing strategies.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of all web development functions, including needs analysis, design, development, coding, testing, administration, bootstrap/responsive design, and maintenance of high production corporate websites.
  • Oversees a cadence of marketing campaign landing page and microsite development, and guide process and site enhancement to manage and scale incoming global web development requests.
  • Demonstrates experience leading teams of web developers across large projects.
  • Oversees critical web operations projects such as website redesign, corporate business systems and web tool integration, ecommerce and service portal integration, analytics and tracking code deployment for online campaigns, content delivery network integration, and technical SEO code optimization.
  • Supervises both team members and project lists, work with stakeholders to prioritize work, analyze projects to contain scope and costs/budget, coordinate stakeholder and team member activities, maintain detailed task lists and timelines via cloud-based tracking tools, and report regularly on progress.
  • Possesses an understanding of online marketing projects, particularly as they relate to online demand generation, lead nurturing, sales funnel, and analytics.
  • Collaborates with a broad array of internal clients, including IT, market development managers, marketing communications managers, sales, product managers, service and support providers, external agencies, and internal technical resources.

  • 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on web development in corporate environments
  • Recent experience leading web development projects including project management
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Magento
  • Hands-on development background to include HTML/DHTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), technical SEO, tracking codes and cross-browser compatibility all strongly preferred.
  • Experience with customer facing website projects with consumer products/retail and/or eCommerce and digital commerce
  • Experience producing digital commerce and marketing technical solutions to market and/or sell consumer products.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills including statistical analysis.
  • Strong people management skills; with proven ability to influence, work, collaborate, and communicate globally with peers.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven work environments
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure while maintaining both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers.
