Our client located Southeast of Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking an Oracle Apex Software Engineer with strong PL/SQL skills:

This role involves Oracle Programming using Oracle Apex, PL/SQL, Oracle 11g & 12 c databases, TOAD, SQL Navigator and Crystal Reports.

  • Perform the full application development lifecycle including: gathering initial requirements, functional analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance & support of applications and reports.
  • Utilize PLSQL stored procedures and functions within packages, triggers and libraries. May leverage Dynamic SQL, ref-cursors, bulk collection, explain plans, materialized views, shell scripting, and performance tuning.
  • Communicates directly with stakeholders and non-technical end-users on a regular basis in English. Will obtain requirements, facilitate user acceptance testing, and coordinate Go-Live roll-outs.
  • Responsible for maintaining friendly relationships with non-technical stakeholders and decision makers.

  • 4-10+ years of recent professional PLSQL application and report programming experience.
  • Oracle Apex application engineering and development.
  • Oracle backend database development
  • Experience using Toad, SQL Developer and Crystal Reports (or similar)
  • Experience utilizing Oracle databases with 1000+ tables or other very large ERP Systems.
  • Bachelor degree (prefer CS, CIS, IT, Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.)
  • Master's degree (prefer CS, CIS, MIS, BIS, IT, or Engineering)
  • Experience working with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Data Visualizations (ODV) and/or Oracle Essbase.
