The System Administrator is responsible for supporting the stable operation of the organization's server infrastructure including effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure in a multi-site, enterprise, business environment. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and objectives.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot multi-domain Windows Server environments (2008/2012/2016)
  • Responsible for proactive monitoring and management of all infrastructure systems, including Servers, storage, networking equipment, VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure, O365, etc.
  • Resolves escalated issues from the Help Desk
  • Maintain backups and test restores of the infrastructure environment
  • Comprehensive documentation of existing and future infrastructure
  • Document, track, and monitor changes to ensure proper resolution
  • Provide on-call and\or after hours support as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or described by company policy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Windows Server technologies (2003/2008/2012/2016)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Active Directory Domain Services
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP client/server communication that use these protocols: DNS, SMTP, HTTP, SMB, CIFS, Routing
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 Administration, including PowerShell
  • Strong technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, team building and organizational skills
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot server infrastructure and network issues and products as required
  • Ability to promote and participate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Strong problem solving, analytical methods and technical skills
  • Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Degree in the field of Computer Science or other related field, and/or 5 years of equivalent work experience
  • Preferred certifications include:
    • Microsoft Certifications
    • Networking Certifications
    • CompTIA A+ Certification
